General Guidelines for all show are as follows:
Eligibility
All artists age 16 and older, working in any media, may apply to this show. Work previously exhibited in LibertyTown’s gallery is not eligible. Work must be original and completed within the last five years.
Rules
Work accepted into the show must be for sale. Applications must be submitted electronically; no physical pieces will be accepted at the gallery for jurying. Work that will be displayed on a wall must be ready to hang, with no wet media, no sawtooth hangers, and staple-free edges. LibertyTown will provide pedestals when needed. LibertyTown reserves the right to reject works accepted by the juror due to content, space constraints, or inability to properly install the work.
Fees
A non-refundable application fee must be paid for each submitted piece before it will be juried. Payment may be submitted electronically to LibertyTown. “Friends of LibertyTown” Members receive discounted jury fees. Commission
LibertyTown keeps a commission of 40% on all show sales, but occasionally we will lower the fees. Accepted work must arrive at LibertyTown by the stated due date. As Spring Solstice is coming upon us the earth is waking back up, and we want to fill the gallery with the magic of spring. In our National Juried Exhibit, Verdant, we imagine a gallery filled with images of the rich greens and lush new growth that define spring, whether that be fields of flowers, new buds on trees, or freshly tilled gardens. Show us what a Verdant Spring looks like to you. All mediums welcome.

Water is the life blood of this planet. It flows through our veins and our valleys shaping our earth and sustaining life. This month we celebrate water in all its many forms. We imagine a gallery filled with images of water flowing and falling in all its glory. All mediums welcome.

This month we want to be “Dazzled” by your most colorful vibrant works that celebrate the wide rainbow of colors. Amaze us with your understanding of color theory, or go bananas with neon, just don’t serve us up muted tones! We want a gallery filled with raucous, noisy, life affirming color! All mediums welcome.

In July we are dedicating our gallery to Birds and Capybaras, two animals we are obsessed with, and two animals that seem to be obsessed with each other. We want to see art celebrating them separately or together in all their beauty and silliness. We want the gallery filled with joyful feathers and cute little capybara bums all month long! All mediums welcome.

This October, LibertyTown Arts Workshop proudly presents Fiber V, the fifth installment of our fiber exhibition celebrating the expansive and evolving world of fiber art. This show highlights the full breadth of contemporary fiber practices, including—but not limited to—weaving, dyeing, felting, sculpture, sewing, quilting, knitting, and crochet.
Fiber materials may include cotton, wood, wool, paper, metal, synthetic materials, and beyond. All works must consist primarily of fiber and be of original design; kits and commercial patterns are not permitted.
The method of display must be clear and achievable by LibertyTown staff. Any specialty hardware, hangers, or display forms must be provided by the artist. Artists are required to list all fiber media used in each piece.
